A FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE MEDITATION
To keep you grounded during these times of unrest
Find yourself a quiet, calm place that you feel comfortable in.
Take a deep breath, and close your eyes.
While you exhale, release all tension from your body. Imagine it leaving your body through the exhale.
On your next inhale, envision breathing in a white light, that becomes golden when it enters your body, and circulates throughout your system, enveloping you in warmth.
Continue breathing, imagine the light slowly beginning to radiate out from your body.
Bring your hands to rest over your heart.
While you breathe, envision the light emanating from you, reaching towards your family, friends, loved ones. Imagine it radiating throughout your community, to the next town, and then the next. Imagine the light moving into the sky, permeating the clouds, and moving through the atmosphere. Imagine the light encompassing the entire earth.
Ask the light to heal those who are wounded, those who are suffering, those who need help, those who need protection.
Envision what the world looks like with out pain and suffering, where every person, regardless of race, gender, sexuality, is free and safe.
Stay in this moment until you are ready to depart.
