WHAT IS A TALISMAN?
There is a long and storied history of how people across cultures use talismans, good luck charms, protection amulets or totems for their own personal practice, for good luck, in worship, as souvenirs of visits to mystical places, and as holy reliquaries. These heirloom objects all serve the same purpose: To connect the wearer with a specific energy source, from their journey through their religion or faith, to a particular saint, to a divine symbol or archetype, or as a reminder of their highest self incarnate. Each pendant in the Talisman charm collection is hand made, beginning as a tiny sculpture carved from wax. Each line is plotted and drawn, shaped with precision using very sharp tools. The piece is then cast into solid 14k gold using the ancient art of lost wax casting. .
In my years of studying art history and symbolism, I've seen many interpretations of the symbolism of talismans evoking a particular meaning in the human subconsciousness.
Regardless of interpretation, the belief in the symbolism and power of the wearable art is the one thing that has remained constant throughout history.

HOW DO I USE TALISMAN JEWELRY?
Talisman work varies from practitioner to practitioner - You do not need to practice magic to use talismans. Talismans are often chosen instinctively, and worn to amplify your personal energy, your manifestations, your creative visions, and to actualize your highest self. They can also be used for protection, to amplify your voice, to enhance creativity, to be a vessel to connect the astral [your dreams] into the physical world.

WHAT IS AN AMULET?
An amulet is a piece of jewelry thought to give protection to the wearer. Most often containing hard gemstones, such as diamonds. Protection amulets are quite common and sometimes the term is interchangeable with the word 'talisman' yet they are different if reading from varied traditions.
We use the definition of amulet as an object used primarily for protection of the wearer. Amulets also tend to have figurative symbolism, such an an eye or a specific deity.
DO ALL GOLD TALISMAN CONTAIN MAGIC?
This is an interesting question, yes and no. They are not inherently magical, Talismans that are built with specific iconography or sacred geometry, or mudras will act as vessels to pour your magic into.
Making jewelry as wearable art has long been the highest and most sacred artform, and still remains a powerful form of self expression. It is important to take care of your everyday jewelry and it’s even more important to take care of your talisman energetically. Think of your talismans as an energy sponge. Everything and everyone you come into contact with can directly affect your energy and just as we take care of ourselves and our clothing to be clean we approach ‘cleaning’ our talisman jewelry the same way.
Place in a selenite bowl to clear and recharge your jewelry at the end of the day. Selenite is known for its pure light energy that is abundantly positive, acting like a cosmic cleaner for your aura. You can also use the light of a full moon to ‘charge’ your fine talisman jewelry with a specific intention and/ or reset the talisman.
There can be a ceremony around putting on your jewelry everyday, it can simply be a moment of gratitude or a moment where you reflect on an affirmation.
