The Aeon's serpent is drawn in white diamonds and finished in white rhodium, circling the 18k yellow gold.

Opening is a small, deliberate act. The mechanism is 18k gold through and through, down to the button. Press it in, give it a quarter turn, and lift the top. A chain inside keeps the top with the vessel, so it is never set down or lost. Close it with the same turn and it locks secure.
