This talisman, pierced with the symbol known as The Witch's Heart, holds a rich history stretching across centuries. The heart symbol with the tail curved to the right first appeared as doodles within the margins of 14th-century Medieval manuscripts, and later became a symbol of protection in the 17th century. By the 18th century, it took on a new meaning as a representation of being "bewitched" in love.
